Hello.

 I'm Tara. I am a wife and a mother to five amazing, beautiful, messy, crazy children- my oldest and youngest are girls and there are three boys sandwiched in between. My degree is in Elementary Education with a minor in Reading. I first taught third grade in a local school for several years, moved to reading interventions and staff development for a year, and finally switched to online teaching in 2008. I've been doing that ever since. 

We bought my grandma's house after she and my grandpa passed away a year and a half ago. We are now deep into remodel mode. It's been hard living in the chaos of a slow remodel and not having places to put so many of our belongings as work is being done, but it has also been fun to see things change.

My interests include reading, yoga, singing/music, creating, and personal development. I feel like I've lost myself over the years. This blog is an attempt to find myself again and share that journey.
